Eight “D” in Problem Solving

8D focuses is on product and process improvement, with the purpose of defining a problem as well as its root cause, implementing a solution to correct it and reporting findings. It establishes a permanent corrective action based on statistical analysis of the problem and on the origin of the problem by determining the root causes.
