Accounts Receivables

Receivables, also referred to as accounts receivable, are debts owed to a company by its customers for goods or services that have been delivered or used but not yet paid for. For example, when customers purchase products on credit, the amount owed gets added to the accounts receivable. Accounts receivable is the lifeblood of a business’s cash flow and it is treated as current assets on the balance sheet.
